Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny has committed his future to the team by signing an eight-year, $70 million contract extension. The new deal, set to commence in the 2025-26 season, will make Konecny the highest-paid player on the Flyers' roster.

At 27 years old, Konecny is entering the prime of his career. Last season, he reached new heights by setting career highs in goals (33), points (68), and short-handed goals (six) over 76 games. Throughout his NHL career, Konecny has amassed a total of 400 points, with 174 goals and 226 assists, across 564 games.
